This a 009 version of the Fairbourne Railway’s sister locos Sian and Katie which are now based at the Whistlestop Valley in Huddersfield.

Those of you who know of Sian & Katie will know these are 15” locos so more commonly modeled in 09 in the modeling world, but I was asked to design these in 009 scale. In reality, the design is equally adaptable to 09 completely by accident.

The kit comes with the following items;

• Loco body

• Tender body

• Westinghouse Pump

• buffers

• Cowcatchers

• Couplings

• Air tanks

• Cylinder covers

• Sanders

Additional things you will need to complete this model include:

• Hand Rail wire and attachments (Can be sourced from Roxey Mouldings)

• Dapol N gauge 6 wheel milk tanker

• Dapol Bogie coupling and wheel/Single wheel bogie from Fourdees

• Dapol Cartazzi truck and wheels

• Bachmann Percy Chassis

• Whistle and additional detailing parts of the modeler’s choice.
