80136, which has been re-numbered to 80116 double heads a train with SR V class 4-6-0 926 "Repton" at Green End
A short while later, and it significantly worse weather NELPG'S J27/P3 2392 passes Green End with the goods for Goathland
9F's 92214 & 92134 put on a fine display as they double head through Green End.

80136 at Darnholme. 80136 has been re-numbered to 80116 which hauled the last train from Scarborough to Whitby West cliff and then on to Middlesbrough through Sandsend on 5 May 1958
Caley Tank 55189 double heads the goods train with 2392 through Darnholme
SNG heads through Darnholme. Due to the failure of  80136 the train only got as far as Goathland
Unfortunately due to  80136 failing further up the line the service SNG was leading had to terminate at Goathland. The J27 was added to the rear and the pair departed back towards Grosmont.
